If you're a female volleyball player and want to learn how to Jump Serve with top spin and POWER, then this is the right camp for you! The Jump Power Serve is a great way to improve not just your serving ability, but also your spiking technique, timing, back row and out of system attacking, and another way to develop more athleticism and power. You never know you can do something until you try it.
So, Why don't more girls jump serve? Coaches and players will often give statistical reasons why it's more effective to float serve, or simply say women cannot hit hard enough to justify a top spin serve over a float serve. As a coach who's developed many FEMALE and MALE top spin servers, I believe the main reason is that most girls aren't given the opportunity to develop that skill and are shut down too early. I'm a firm believer in coaching the athlete, not the gender.
Lastly, you'll learn the best mechanics to jump, hit, and land with minimal injuries, and specific exercises to strengthen the ankles, knees, lower back, and shoulders, which are the most common injuries when it comes to spiking and serving.
